Avi Malavalli: a racing driver website built for sponsors
Design, build, calendar, gallery and an enquiry flow, for a driver whose season depends on partners saying yes.
Avi Malavalli is a racing driver. Like most drivers on the way up, the season depends on partners, and partners have to be convinced.
The challenge
A sponsor's marketing manager doesn't read a DM thread. They Google the name, look for something they can forward to whoever signs the budget, and decide in minutes whether the driver looks like a brand they want next to theirs. The job was to make that search land on something that answers the question before it's asked.
What was built
- A hero with intent. "Always racing with intent." over the helmet, the first thing a sponsor sees, and the line the rest of the site keeps its promise to.
- About, calendar and gallery. The story, the season, and the pictures, each on its own page so a sponsor can send exactly the one they need.
- An enquiry flow. A direct route for partners, separate from fans.
- Search and AI setup. Metadata, structured data and AEO so the name resolves to the site.
On the Layerstop homepage, this site is what's underneath the "wipe the slop away" interaction: a generic template on top, a page with a point of view underneath.
